What is a rubber oil seal?

A rubber oil seal is a rotary shaft seal used in mechanical systems to prevent leakage of lubricating media and block the intrusion of external contaminants; it belongs to the category of dynamic sealing elements.

 

There are many types of rubber oil seals, which can generally be classified according to their material and structure. Based on material, they can be divided into ordinary rubber oil seals, styrene-butadiene rubber oil seals, fluororubber oil seals, etc.; based on structure, they can be divided into end cap type oil seals, external skeleton oil seals, red oil seals, etc.
