Product Overview

The High Speed Oil Seal is a radial shaft seal developed for equipment with elevated rotational speeds. It is used in high-speed pumps, automotive rotating assemblies, precision machinery and other shaft systems where the seal operates continuously at a fast-running interface.

Core Advantages

Rated for Rotational Speeds up to 5000 RPM

The specification lists operation up to 5000 RPM. In pumps, automotive rotating assemblies and precision machinery operating at elevated shaft speed, this gives the seal a defined speed class for initial selection instead of treating it as a general-purpose heavy-section oil seal.

1.8 mm High-Speed Working Lip

The working lip is specified at 1.8 mm and is part of the high-speed seal profile. At elevated rotational speed, the lip geometry is controlled as a dedicated dynamic-contact feature. Final application suitability still depends on shaft diameter, surface condition, lubricant and operating temperature.

Compact 10 mm Axial Section

The 10 mm width fits the 60 mm shaft and 90 mm housing within a compact seal section. In high-speed assemblies when the seal pocket sits close to the bearing or other rotating hardware, the defined axial envelope limits the space required by the sealing unit.

Speed-Matched Geometry

Lip profile, contact position and section are developed around the shaft diameter and required surface speed, not RPM alone.

Material

NBR, FKM and PTFE-based options are selected for the specified lubricant, temperature and friction requirement of the rotating system.

Dimensions

ID, OD and width are matched to the bearing arrangement and available seal pocket shown on the equipment drawing.

Quality Control

The compound, case and spring used for the high-speed part are controlled by part identification before production. If the application drawing specifies hardness or another material property, that requirement is verified separately and is not inferred from appearance.

The 60 mm ID, 90 mm OD and 10 mm width are measured along with the 1.8 mm high-speed lip and its position. The running edge is inspected closely for cuts, flash or incomplete molding because those defects occur directly at the dynamic contact surface.

Finished seals are checked for assembly condition and correct high-speed part identity before packing. Accepted and rejected parts remain separated, followed by the order-level quantity, label and carton check.
