Product Overview

The Cassette Oil Seal is an integrated rotary sealing unit that combines the sealing and supporting elements in one assembly. It is used in excavators, loaders, mining machinery, wheel-end assemblies and other heavy rotating systems exposed to oil, dirt and external contamination.

Core Advantages

Integrated Rubber-and-Metal Assembly

The cassette construction combines the rubber sealing element and metal support in one unit. In excavator, loader, mining and wheel-end assemblies exposed to repeated service cycles, the integrated layout keeps the sealing and structural elements aligned as one assembly during installation.

Metal-Cased Structural Support

The metal casing carries the housing fit and supports the rubber sealing element inside the cassette. In heavy rotating assemblies exposed to press-fit installation and external contamination, the rigid structure protects the installed geometry of the sealing element.

2.5 mm Working Lip within an Integrated Package

The 2.5 mm lip forms the dynamic oil-control interface while the 80 × 120 × 15 mm cassette body sets the surrounding installation size. The lip handles shaft contact while the metal structure carries installation support within the same unit.

Customization

Cassette Dimensions

Shaft diameter, housing diameter and assembly width are matched to wheel-end, gearbox or heavy-equipment drawings.

Elastomer

NBR, FKM or another specified oil-resistant compound are selected for oil, temperature and contamination exposure, subject to the approved material specification.

Integrated Exclusion Features

Primary oil lip, auxiliary dirt-exclusion features and metal-case geometry are arranged within the cassette package to suit the available running surface and housing space.

Quality Control

-04--05

Rubber sealing elements and metal cassette parts are inspected separately before assembly. Corrosion, deformation or contamination on the metal sections is removed from the build because it can affect both housing fit and the alignment of the internal sealing element.

The 80 mm ID, 120 mm OD and 15 mm width are measured against the drawing. Inspectors then check the 2.5 mm lip, molded transitions and assembled metal sections as separate functional areas. Overall size alone is not enough for acceptance.

Final inspection checks assembled condition, part identity and visible surface condition before the order is packed. Quantity, labels and carton condition are checked after the cassette assembly has passed the product-level inspection.
