Product Overview

The V-ring Oil Seal is a stacked V-shaped packing set used for heavy reciprocating rod and shaft sealing. Typical applications include construction machinery, mining equipment, hydraulic machinery, heavy machine tools, and metallurgical equipment that use compressed V-packing inside a gland.

Stacked V-Ring Structure
The sealing set is formed from multiple V-shaped rings rather than a single molded lip. When axial compression is applied in the gland, each V section expands toward the mating surfaces, creating several sealing lines. This allows the packing to maintain contact across a larger axial length in heavy reciprocating applications.
 

Adjustable Ring Count for Gland and Load Conditions
The number of sealing rings can be changed according to the equipment requirement. In machinery with different gland depths or load levels, the stack can be built to use the available installation space and provide the required compression without changing the basic V-ring principle.
 

Rubber Structure for Heavy Reciprocating Duty
It uses high-strength rubber designed to resist pressure, tearing, wear, aging, and extrusion. In mining, metallurgy, and heavy machine-tool service where the rod cycles under impact and contaminated conditions, the reinforced section helps prevent the lips from being forced into clearances or damaged by repeated compression.

Ring Count and Stack Height
The quantity of V-rings and the total packing height can be matched to the available gland space and sealing requirement.
 

Cross-Section Dimensions
ID, OD, ring width, lip angle, and section dimensions can be produced from equipment drawings or existing packing samples.
 

Material Grade
Rubber compound can be selected for the declared hydraulic medium, temperature condition, and wear environment of the equipment.

The specified rubber compound is identified before production, and any hardness or material-property requirement on the drawing is checked as a separate acceptance item.

Each molded V-ring is measured for ID, OD, section geometry, and lip condition. Rings with tears, flash, incomplete molding, or distorted V-sections are separated before sets are assembled, and the final ring count and stack height are checked against the order.

All accepted sets undergo final inspection before packing. Product identity, quantity, and packing information are checked together, and the company accepts third-party inspection for orders that require an independent release check.
