Reducer Seal Ring
The Reducer Seal Ring is a molded elastomer part used at reducer housings, end covers, shaft-end interfaces, and other lubricant-retaining joints. It is used on horizontal, vertical, and planetary reducers in mining machinery, conveyor systems, metallurgical equipment, chemical equipment, and construction machinery.

Gear-Oil Corrosion and Aging Resistance
Reducer seal rings remain exposed to lubricating oil while gears generate heat during continuous operation. Resistance to oil-driven swelling, hardening, and aging helps the sealing section retain its working shape instead of opening a path for lubricant migration.
Vibration and Minor-Displacement Recovery
Gear mesh, bearing load, and equipment vibration create small relative movements at housing and end-cover joints. The elastomeric section absorbs these displacements and returns to contact, preventing vibration from progressively loosening the sealing barrier.
High- and Low-Temperature Stability during Continuous Operation
Reducers can move from cold start-up to sustained internal heat as torque is transmitted. The sealing section is formulated to remain functional through these temperature changes, limiting hardening, cracking, or loss of compression during long operating cycles.

NBR or FKM for oil-contact reducer applications; other engineering elastomers can be reviewed against lubricant, temperature, and environmental exposure.
Reducer Interface
Housing cover, end-cover, shaft-end, plug, flange, and other static sealing interfaces can be matched to the reducer drawing.
Dimensions and Cross-Section
ID, OD, thickness, groove-matched cross-section, and non-standard molded profiles can be made from drawings, samples, or groove dimensions.
Quality Control
The incoming elastomer is matched to the approved compound and order requirement before molding. If hardness or another material property is specified for the reducer application, it is checked separately.
Dimensional checks concentrate on the cross-section and mating dimensions that control groove fill at housings, covers, and shaft-end joints. Cuts, excess flash, incomplete molding, and contamination are screened from finished sealing surfaces.
If the reducer specification calls for compression set or lubricant exposure, the test uses the stated medium, method, and acceptance limit. Identity, visible condition, quantity, and packing accuracy are checked before dispatch.
