-45°C to +135°C covers cold-side operation, compressor heat, shutdown, and ambient exposure. As the joint expands and contracts through those changes, the gasket stays in elastic contact with the mating surfaces and helps prevent a leakage path from opening.

Pressure-Cycle Leak Control

Pressure at a compressor joint rises and falls every time the refrigeration circuit cycles. The gasket keeps contact at the mating face as joint load changes, which limits seepage at bolted housings and line connections.

Moisture Ingress Barrier

On joints exposed to humid air or outdoor conditions, the same sealing line also keeps external moisture out. This reduces the chance of moisture or other contamination entering the compressor and refrigerant path.

Standard or non-standard ID, OD, thickness, cross-section, and mating-face geometry can be made from drawings, samples, or groove dimensions.

Quality Control

Before molding, the compound is matched to the specified elastomer. If hardness is defined on the drawing or product specification, it is checked as a separate requirement rather than judged by appearance.

During and after molding, checks cover ID, OD, thickness, and the sealing-contact profile because these dimensions control compressor-joint fit. Cuts, tears, excess flash, incomplete molding, and contamination are also screened from the sealing surface.

If the specification requires material-property verification, the relevant hardness, compression-set, or fluid-exposure test is applied to the specified compound. Before shipment, gaskets are checked again for identity, visible condition, quantity, and packing status.
