Product Introduction

Product Overview

Designed specifically for imperial-dimension housings, our SC-profile rubber oil seals feature a double-lip construction with an integrated garter spring. They provide direct drop-in replacement for North American industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, and automotive transmissions without requiring dimensional conversion or housing modifications.

Primary Sealing Lip: Spring-loaded edge that maintains constant radial contact pressure to retain lubricants and compensate for normal shaft micro-wear.

Secondary Dust Lip: Blocks external dust, dirt, and water splash, extending bearing and shaft service life in abrasive operating environments.

Technical Specifications

Size Standard: Imperial (Inch) fractional and decimal dimensions (Shaft ID & Housing OD).

Hardness: 70–90 Shore A (optimized at 70–75 Shore A for standard NBR to balance sealing efficiency and wear resistance).

Operating Pressure: <= 0.03 MPa (standard rotary application threshold).

Metal Case: Carbon steel or optional stainless steel insert for secure press-fit installation.

Spring Material: Corrosion-resistant carbon steel or stainless steel garter spring.

Manufacturing & Quality Control

To ensure batch consistency and reliable dynamic performance, every production run adheres to strict technical controls:

Compound Testing: Raw materials are inspected for tensile strength, elongation, and density prior to release.

Precision Molding: Compression and injection curing parameters are monitored to maintain uniform rubber density, proper compression set, and tight lip concentricity tolerances.

100% Inspection: Finished seals undergo visual and mechanical checks for flash, surface defects, spring seating, and critical inner/outer diameter accuracy using calibrated gauges.

OEM & Wholesale Capabilities

We support global distributors, OEMs, and maintenance providers with flexible supply solutions:

Custom Development: Production of non-standard inch sizes based on engineering drawings, physical samples, or OEM part numbers.

Material & Branding Options: Tailored compound selection, metal/spring material changes, custom logo molding, laser marking, and private-label packaging.

Export Packaging: Individual poly bags, bulk cartons with barcode labels, and export-grade palletization designed for reliable international logistics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between SC and TC oil seals?

A: SC oil seals have a rubber-covered outer diameter with a double-lip design, making them suitable for many industrial applications. TC oil seals also feature double lips but are often produced with different outer diameter constructions depending on application and installation requirements.

Q: Can you manufacture non-standard inch sizes?

A: Yes. We manufacture custom inch-size oil seals based on drawings, physical samples or OEM part numbers.

Q: Which rubber material should I choose?

A: Material selection depends on operating temperature, lubricant type, shaft speed and the surrounding environment. NBR is suitable for most mineral oil applications, while FKM is preferred for high temperatures and aggressive chemicals.

Q: Can you print our logo on the oil seals?

A: Yes. We offer custom logo molding, laser marking (where applicable), and private-label packaging for OEM customers.
